Montreal-based professional project management services company CREO Solutions has entered into an agreement with Versatile Inc., a Bay Area construction technology company, to bring the Versatile CraneView system to the Canadian market.

From atop a job site, CraneView collects data to leverage the power of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to help general contractors optimize construction processes.

The system analyzes thousands of data points under the hook of any crane to provide insight into jobsite performance and to help streamline decision-making. The technology offers production data to provide visibility into crane utilization, outliers, construction progress, and more.

“We believe data is an incredibly powerful tool on the jobsite and CraneView insights will make operational processes more transparent and efficient,” said Enzo Conte, CEO of CREO Solutions. “The deployment of artificial intelligence on construction sites is a logical next step to complete the technological offers of CREO Solutions.”

Innovation and process improvement in the construction industry has been a major focus for CREO Solutions. Founded in 2010, the company was among the first in Quebec to use collaborative cloud computing platforms and to implement recognized best practices in project management. Its team of professionals supports the construction industry with the goal of optimizing operations through data analysis.

“As we continue to expand across North America, it’s important that our customers have access to expert local representatives,” said Meirav Oren, CEO and co-founder of Versatile. “We are excited to provide boots that perform well in the field through our partnership with CREO Solutions.”
